Students will learn: methods of computer representation of biological objects, methods of ontological modeling, programming languages ​​and software and tools in bioinformatics, methods of integrating applications in bioinformatics, algorithms for analyzing genetic sequences, features of mathematical modeling of the dynamics of functioning of living systems at various hierarchical levels of their organization; to carry out the analysis of data in clinical conditions, to carry out a quick search for genetic sequences in data banks; methods of analysis of genetic sequences and their adaptation to high-performance computing systems, methods of sequence alignment.
