Objectives

Students will study theoretical directions related to measurement, analysis, optimization, reengineering, quality, operational risks and managing business processes in healthcare, requirements for developing new models and methods, methods for analyzing, optimizing and reengineering business processes in healthcare. Students will learn to evaluate the applicability and directly apply business process optimization or reengineering to improve the infrastructure of a medical institution, evaluate and avoid risks when developing business processes in health care, evaluate the applicability and validity of models and methods for improving the infrastructure of a medical institution, identify requirements for developing new models and methods to analyze, perform optimization or reengineering of business processes in healthcare. Students will have the skills to determine the requirements for improving the infrastructure of a medical institution and its development strategies, assessing the effectiveness of measures to improve the infrastructure of a medical institution, and work with instrumental systems that allow modeling, analysis, optimization and reengineering of business processes in healthcare.
