Mikhail Melnik is an Assistant Professor at High Performance Computing Department. He got his master’s double Degree in computational science at ITMO University and University van Amsterdam in 2016. Since 2014 he works in the research group "GSS infrastructure", where he participates in the development of workflow scheduling algorithms as well as in the development of intellectual big data processing systems.

His research interests include evolutionary computing, machine learning, distributed computing, workflow scheduling and agent modelling.
